This policy explains what Playbooks (the "plugin"), published by Auteur, collects when you use it inside ChatGPT, why, and what control you have.
What we collect and process
- The playbooks you save, import or install: each one's name, when to use it, its instructions, examples and tags, plus earlier versions of each (up to 25).
- When each playbook was last used and how many times, so the library can sort by it.
- Text or a .md/.txt file you ask to import is read once to build the playbook; only the resulting playbook is kept, never the file. Your chat history is never sent.
- A hashed, anonymous version of your ChatGPT user id, so only you can see your playbooks. We never receive your name or email address.
ChatGPT sends us an anonymous user identifier with each request. We never receive your name, e-mail address or chat history. We store only a one-way hash of that identifier so your saved items stay yours. We do not ask for or accept passwords, payment details, government identifiers or health records.
Why
Only to perform the action you asked the plugin to do and to show you the result. We do not sell data, show ads, build advertising profiles, or use your content to train models.
Who receives it
- No one else. Playbooks are stored in our database on Cloudflare, our hosting provider, and are never shared, sold or used for training.
How long we keep it
Playbooks are kept until you delete them. Deleting a playbook erases it and all of its versions from our database immediately. Text that looks like a password, API key or card number is refused and never stored. Server logs that may contain IP addresses are kept by our hosting provider for up to 7 days for security.
Your controls
- See, search and filter every playbook in the Playbooks library, or ask ChatGPT to list them.
- Edit any playbook in the card or by asking ChatGPT; each save keeps the previous version, which you can restore.
- Delete any playbook, with all its versions, from the card or by asking ChatGPT.
Children
The plugin is not directed at children under 13.
